Pokhara University is dedicated to being a Centre of Excellence in Higher Education. Through its teaching, learning and research activities; its primary goal is to produce market and service-oriented graduates and link the University system with the community services. Since its inception, Pokhara University has come to occupy a leading position in higher education in Nepal.
The School of Business is a constituent School of Pokhara University, located at Dhungepatan, Lekhnath, 13 km east of Pokhara. It was established in 1999 under the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS). Its vision is to develop into a premier business school in order to prepare the youth of today for in creative and productive ways the growing challenges of the business world, both locally and internationally. |

The school fo business has been adminstering the undergraduate (Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA and Bachelor of Administration in Banking and Insurance - BBA-BI) and the graduate (Master of Business Administration - MBA, MBA for job holders) programs n Management Studies.
The School offers a strong focus on the "real" world of employment, underpined by an international research capability based on academic excellence and practical business relevance. our range of highly-regarded business adn mangement courses combines a thorough grounding in both management theory and practice with the opportunity to specialize in accounting, finance, human resource management, marketing and international business. |

Pokhara University School of Business is an institution rich in resources. The School of Business (SOB) is the constituent Business School of Pokhara University and has been providing quality education at Bachelor and Master’s level management program since its inception. It has a team of faculty who are concerned with overall academic improvement of individual student. Our faculty and administrative staff are committed to enhancing and improving student’s communication skills in English and recognize student’s other challenges and work closely to help them. The Pokhara University School of Business MBA Program is about developing distinctive managers/entrepreneurs through rigorous management curriculum taught by case method, and different activities in the classroom, as well as through internship in various fields. The SOB MBA degree allows students to specialize in a variety of areas, such as Finance, Management Science and Systems, Marketing, Human Resource Management and General Management. Since 2004 the School has introduced the trimester MBA course in an environment in which students can learn management competencies and new ideas valuable to an organisation.

It gives me great pleasure to inform you that our MBA graduates are involved in the national and multinational organizations and demonstrating their performance with a variety of administrative under different responsibilities. The credit of this undoubtedly goes to our hard working students and dedicated faculties as well our supporters. A number of students pursuing their further studies in different universities abroad are doing well. This is surely because of the advanced teaching pedagogy our teachers use and the learner friendly environment of our School of Business. It is gradually emerging into a well-managed research-based institution, that effectively prepares students for ongoing advanced study.
