Scholarship |
Pokhara University offers a number of scholarships in all the Faculties. University provides scholarship upto 5 percent of students of enrolled in affiliated colleges and 20 percent of students enrolled in constituent schools/campus to make the higher education impparted by it accessible to the underprovilidged section of the society. The basic requirement to be elligible for the scholarships:
- Should have passed S.L.C. from government school
- Pass the scholarship selection examination conducted by the University.
Beside this, the school offers a meritorious scholarship in each semester for the semester topper. |

Central Library |

The University has
well managed spacious central
library, attached to the academic
building of Faculty of Science and
Technology. It has most of the
required textbooks and reference
books required for the B.Sc.MLT,
B.Pharm,and BPH course. The
library is also going to enriched
with all the text and reference books
required for B.Sc. Nursing and
Engineering course. Moreover, the
central library is digitally equipped
with computers, C.C. Camera &
continuous high speed internet
service. Including more than 6000
textbooks, reference books and
other books, CD-ROMs and DVDs
are also available in the library .The
college subscribes to a number of
national and international journals
and news papers. |

Transportation Service |

For the convenience of
all students, faculties and staff, the
University has its own shuttle bus
service which covers almost all
parts of the city area of Pokhara.
The University also provides
transportation to its students to
attend Teaching Hospitals and for
Field Visits arranged for teaching
and learning purposes. |

Hospital Facility |
| |
For the convenience of
health check-up of University
students, faculties, staff and the local community, the university
is planning to run a community
hospital with all diagnostic facilities.
All the infrastructures of the hospital
have already been completed by
the highly generous people of
Lekhnath Municipality. Moreover
the Lions Club of Lekhnath has
donated the instruments needed to
run the hospital. Now, on the request
of local community people, the
University is going to manage all
the technical staff to run the hospital. |

Sports |

For the overall
development of students,
participation in the extra-curricular
activities and sports by the student
is encouraged. The University is
enriched with space for outdoor
games like table tennis, basketball,
football and Badminton. One
should try to maintain one’s own
physical fitness in whatever way
one thinks it may be possible. |

Health Service Center |

Pokhara University is
going to start Health Service Center
inside its academic complex.
Construction of separate building
and its preparation for this has
already finished, which is located
inside the academic complex.
Recently the University is planning
to run this with the facility of
Diagnostic Health Laboratory,
General Health Check up and
Model Pharmacy. |

Cafeteria |
| |
Pokhara University offers
all demands and addresses for the
necessities of its faculties, staff,
and students systematically. In
this process University recently
has prepared a separate building
for cafeteria. Which is going to
open soon. Within the premises
of University campus the cafeteria
offers hygienic fresh, fast food to
lunch for 100 persons at a time.
University believes, by this service
the time health and little money of
this family can be well saved. |

Use of Multimedia Projectors and OHPs |

Modern equipments like multimedia projectors and overhead projectors (OHP) are used to conduct the classes. Students are also encouraged to use them for their presentation classes. |

Engineering Building |

Construction of separate
building for engineering students
has already started and very soon it
will be completed. |
